Yes… I’m using an avatar! I also write under a pen name because I’m a ‘hidden author’ which, in my case means, that this is a new, exciting and incredibly scary thing to do and I’m not yet ready to let the world know who I am!
Honestly… writing is scary!! You put what is in your head down on paper and you hope that people will love it, but also fear that people will hate it! I’ve got to say that it has brought out all of my neurotic tendencies!
At the same time, I’m loving it!
I took a step back from the 9 to 5 when I became a Mum five years ago, and that was probably the first time in a long time that I thought about what I wanted to do.
I’ve always wondered if I could write a book and I didn’t want to always be asking that question. I also didn’t feel like I could tell my children to chase their dreams if I didn’t chase mine.
So, I did it. I love it. I’m totally insecure about my book but also immensely proud of it and I’m going to keep going with it!
